Question 1

Setting up your league

Accepted Answer

Create a season, add divisions, then invite coaches. The "Get set up" checklist on your home page walks each role through its first steps. Demo: /l/varsity/league/try (commissioner).

Question 2

Bringing your league over

Accepted Answer

Admin → Games & schedule → Switch kit. Upload a TeamSnap, LeagueApps, SportsEngine, LeagueLineup, Challonge or spreadsheet export; we map teams, players and past seasons and show you a preview before anything is saved.

Question 3

Registration and team signup

Accepted Answer

Turn on Team signup for adult rec (captains pay in full, a deposit, or per-player shares) or player registration with forms. Free agents and sub lists live on the same tab.

Question 4

Building the schedule

Accepted Answer

Scheduler tab: set blackout dates, venue windows and rematch limits, then generate. Conflicts are flagged before you publish, and rainouts can be rescheduled in one step with alerts to every team.

Question 5

Game day and live scores

Accepted Answer

Scorekeepers post scores from their phone, even offline. Fans follow the live game, standings update on every final, and you can paste a livestream link on any game.

Question 6

Dues, payment plans and aid

Accepted Answer

Money tab: see who has paid, set payment plans and sibling discounts, and review financial aid requests. Families pay by card; LeagueID adds no fees for them.

Question 7

Safety, waivers and youth privacy

Accepted Answer

Safety tab: coach clearance (background check, SafeSport, concussion course), waivers and guardian consent including the under-13 path. Legal text is marked as sample until your counsel approves it.
